Structural inspections are quoted as a fixed fee after a short call about the issue, because the time needed depends on what we are looking at.

Options and policies
Express report: issued within 2 working days of the inspection, for an extra fee shown in the calculator.
Travel: no charge for addresses within 25 miles in a straight line of our base (HP3 8PF). Beyond that, a £45 travel supplement is added to your quote automatically.
Drone: flights depend on airspace rules and the weather. We check your address before the inspection and decide on the day. If we cannot fly, the drone element is deducted or refunded.
Cancellation: if you are a consumer, you can cancel within 14 days of the day you accept our terms. If you ask us to inspect within that period and then cancel, you pay only for the work done up to that point. See our terms.
No valuation: our surveys do not include a valuation or a reinstatement cost for insurance.

Questions
Do your prices include VAT?
Yes. Every price on this website includes VAT at 20%. There are no booking fees or other charges added later.
What if we cannot fly the drone?
The drone element of a Level 3 is priced separately so we can take it off. If airspace rules or the weather stop the flight, we deduct it, or refund it to the same payment method if you have already paid. Where practical we may offer to come back and fly within 14 days instead, at no extra cost.
Why does the price depend on the property value?
Larger and more valuable homes usually take longer to inspect and report on, and carry more responsibility for us. Value bands give you a fixed price before you book, without a site visit.
Do you charge for travel?
Not for addresses within 25 miles in a straight line of our base in Hemel Hempstead (HP3 8PF). Beyond that, a £45 travel supplement is added and shown in your price before you book.
Is the fee the same if I come through my estate agent?
