What we have done
- The site works with a keyboard alone, with visible focus and a "skip to content" link.
- Text can be enlarged to 200% without losing content, and the layout adapts to small screens.
- Colours meet contrast guidelines, and colour is never the only way information is shown. The construction map has a district list you can use instead of clicking the map.
- Forms have labels, clear error messages and do not time out.
- The site follows your device's light or dark setting and reduced-motion preference.
Known limitations
- The construction map is a visual summary. The same information is available in the district list beside it and on our area pages.
- Some older PDF documents may not be fully accessible. Ask us and we will provide the information in another format.
Getting information in another format
If you need information in a different format, such as large print or a phone call to talk through your report, contact us on 07572 190983 or info@dbiss.uk. We will do what we reasonably can to help.
Reporting a problem
If something on the website does not work for you, please tell us at info@dbiss.uk. We aim to reply within 5 working days.
